If your server down , Email senders mail server will continue to deliver emails to your domain. Senders will get message if it can’t deliver in predefined time schedules (1-4 hrs ).
Anyway senders email server will continue to retry till it delivers to your domain or it reaches maximum develivery schedule ( 4- 6 days ). After 4-6 days the email server gives up and noitfies sender about non-deliverable email.
You can access your email account through webmail just like yahoo and hotmail accounts.
You need to point your browser to:
http://www.yourdomain.com/webmail
or
http://www.yourdomain.com:2095/
After getting login screen you need to enter complete email address in username field and password.
You can choose your webmail interface NEOMAIL and HORDE.
FREEDOM to Choose
To redirect catch-all account mails to other mail account -
1) Login to cpanel and click on mail manager icon ( XSKIN Theme )
2) Click on “Change Default Address”
3) Click on “Set Default Adress”
By default, all unrouted mails go to the main inbox for every cpanel account.
4) Enter Full email address test@yourdomain.com instead of just “test”
If you put just username “test” mail server tries to deliver all mails to cpanel user name “test”. So somebody with “test” user name will get your emails sad.gif
TIP: You can enter :blackhole: to discard all incoming unrouted Emails or :fail: to bounce all emails to it.
This e-mail address, with the username the same as your hosting account, is also known as the “catch-all” e-mail address.
In other words, if you have no e-mail accounts setup, this will catch every e-mail sent to anything@yourdomain.com for your retrieval. This will still work even when other accounts are created, which is especially useful if people incorrectly spell the first half of the e-mail address wrong, since you will still get that sometimes-important e-mail.
This is the one e-mail account that is setup with your e-mail software with the username only (all other accounts use username@domain.com as the username in their mail software.)
This is also the only webmail account that you have “instant” access to within your control panel without having to login first.
After creating email account on the server. Now you will need to setup and configure your Outlook Express as follows -
1) Open Outlook Express Progarm and click on “Tools” Menu
2) Choose “Accounts”
3) Click on Add and select “Email… ” option
4) Then Enter your Account Display name “Your Name”
5) Then Enter Email Address
6) then Enter your POP and SMTP mail servers addresses.
POP Server : mail.yourdomain.com
SMTP Server: mail.yourdomain.com
7) Then add your username and password. Remember, your username is your full email address - test@yourdomain.com
Then Click Finish
After you create your email account hit the “properties” for that email account and click on “SERVER” tab and enable or check “My server requires authentication”. Other wise you will not be able to send emails properly.
Your email is now setup. Send some test emails to some other email accounts of yours. Also test that you can receive emails to your new email account.
To setup new accounts -
1) Login to your control panel at http://yourdomain.com/cpanel
2) Choose “Add / Remove Accounts” ( default skin ) or Choose “Mail Manager” icon incase of Xskin then click on “Add / Remove Accounts”

What is package ?
Packages enables you to create your own custom web hosting packages/plans and are a critical function in WebHost Manager.
Web Host Manager (WHM) helps you in this process by allowing you to customize a large number of parameters, from disk space and bandwidth to the number of sub-domains and MySQL databases, as well as specifying whether CGI, shell access, and what CPanel default theme are provided.
Step-by-step procedure to create hosting packages in WHM reseller panel.
====================================================
IMPORTANT NOTE: do not put “unlimited” text in any fields while creating package as WHM takes “Unlimited” = 1. you can assign some number 99 or 999 or 9999 instead of “unlimited”. Enter “0″ (zero) when you do not want to allow that particluar feature.
====================================================
To add a package:
1) Click on the Add New Package link in the Packages menu.
2) Enter the name of the package and the maximum disk space the account can occupy in the Package Name and Quota fields.
3) Indicate whether Shell Access is allowed in the Shell Access tick box.
4) Enter the maximum number of items allowed in the Max Ftp Accounts, Max Email Accounts, Max Email Lists, Max SQL Databases, Max Sub Domains, Max Park Domains, and Max Addon Domains fields.
See above IMPORTANT information.
5) Never tick IP tick Box.
6) Indicate whether CGI access and Frontpage Extensions are allowed in the CGI Access and Frontpage Extentions tick boxes.
7) Enter the maximum bandwidth in megabytes allowed by the account in the Bandwidth Limit field.
Select default CPanel theme for the package in the Cpanel Theme
field.
9) Click on create button on top.
10) You can see status “Created the package yourusername_packagename”. WHM creates packages by adding your user name as prefix to package name.
Now you can start creating domains using this package.
